    Inside 3D Printing 2017

     

    Pensées Inc. had participated in the Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo held at KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition Center), Ilsan, northwest of Seoul, from 28th to 30th June, 2017. Vitarix, a newly developed bioprinter was introduced and had received favorable responses from visitors including 5 investors, 20 company representatives, 12 research fellows. Being the one and only “bio-printing” company among the participants in the exhibition, Pensées Inc. took the opportunity to inform many of the general audience about ‘bio-printing’ technology which is still little-known.

     

    주식회사 팡세는 2017년 6월 28-30일(3일간) 일산 KINTEX(Korea International Exhibition Center)에서 개최된 Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo에 참가업체로 참여했습니다. 전시회에서 팡세가 개발한 바이오 프린터 ‘Vitarix’를 선보이고, 대학교(12명)·기업(20명)·연구소(5명)에서 오신 방문객들과 Vitarix에 대한 긍정적 반응과 기술적 정보를 나눌 수 있었습니다. ‘바이오 프린팅’ 기업으로는 팡세가 유일한 참가업체였으며, 많은 일반 관람객들에게 아직은 생소한 ‘바이오 프린팅’ 기술에 대해서 알릴 수 있는 기회였습니다

    Selected for the Start-up Growth Technology Development Project by the Small & Medium Business Administration  (2017 1st)

     

    Pensées Inc. has applied for the Start-up Growth Technology Development Project sponsored by the ROK Small & Medium Business Administration with the title of ‘Development of potentially implantable and precise bio printing technology with a minimum feature size of 100 micron,’ and gained access to national R&D project funds of \245 million KRW (project period: June 1, 2017 - May 31, 2018). Pensées Inc. aims at developing a precise and highly bio compatible bio printing technology. Under 100 micron minimum feature sized and potentially implantable bio printed cell mass can be achieved after the successful development. The developed bio-printing technique can be a vital tool in the stem cell and tissue engineering researches.

     

    중소기업청 창업성장 기술개발과제 선정 (2017년 1차)

     

    주식회사 팡세는 대한민국 중소기업청 창업성장 기술개발과제에 '인체이식 잠재성을 가지는 선폭 100 um급 정밀 Bio-printing 기술의 개발'이라는 과제명으로 지원하여, 총 사업비 2억 45백만원 규모로 사업에 선정되었습니다 (개발기간: 2017년 6월 1일 - 2018년 5월 31일). 주식회사 팡세는 생체적합성의 정밀 바이오 프린팅 기술 개발을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 성공적인 개발시, 인체에 이식이 가능하며, 최소 선폭 100 um 이하의 세포 구조체의 구현이 가능하게 될 것입니다. 개발된 바이오 프린팅 기술은 줄기 세포 연구와 조직 공학 연구에서 핵심적인 역할을 할 수 있습니다.

    Pensées is presenting its desktop 3D Bioprinter, Delta-B at the 20th International Conference on Miniaturized Systems for Chemistry and Life Sciences (µTAS 2016) in Dublin. µTAS is a series of conferences facilitating premier forum for reporting the research results on the use of integrate microsystems for chemistry and life sciences. Positive responses were received from the visitors whom were shown the live demonstration of the 3D Bioprinter as well as freshly printed samples. The design of Delta-B aims to strengthen the biological contamination prevention and the accessibility by the users through the incorporation of the articulate structure and detachable head module.

    Selected for the Start-up Leading University Follow-up Support Project 

     

    Pensées Inc. was selected for the 2016 Start-up Leading University Follow-up Support Project by Yonsei University (project funding: \43 million / period: Sept. 1, 2016 - Mar. 1, 2017). The selection was based on Pensées’ successful graduation from the previous year’s Start-up Leading University Project and our efforts to rise as a global business. The follow-up support project will help us enhance the production and services of  our articulation-based bioprinters. The results of the enhancement will be released at the Micro TAS 2016 International Conference in Dublin, Ireland.

    Selected for the Start-up Growth Technology Development Project by the Small & Medium Business Administration 

     

    Pensées Inc. applied for the Start-up Growth Technology Development Project sponsored by the ROK Small & Medium Business Administration with the title of ‘Bio Printing Total Solution,’ and gained access to national R&D project funds of \185 million (project period: July 1, 2016 - June 30, 2017). Pensées Inc. aims at developing the hardware for a bioprinter that is easy to maintain and prevents biological contamination, and a bio ink base that features high reproducibility. Success in this development will serve as a tool to accelerate the efforts in tissue engineering research.

    Inside 3D Printing
    Pensées Inc. took part in the Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo held at KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition Center), Ilsan, northwest of Seoul, on June 22-24, 2016, and had the opportunity to introduce a newly developed bioprinter (tentatively named ‘Delta-B’) and a meter-scale 3d printer (tentatively named ‘Venti’), both of which received favorable responses from visitors – a total of 17 investors, 28 company representatives, 14 research fellows, 23 journalists and 217 other participants. Moreover, although Pensées Inc. is a start-up company, its advanced technology and uniqueness were noted and introduced by many online media entities. (XYZist, Neverland)
